2018, Villa Ottelio, Ariis

During a cycle ride I took a picture of this fascinating half ruined villa in Ariis, Veneto. A dramatic love story happened here and could have inspired Shakespeare for his "Romeo and Giulietta". It is painted on a canvas, sized for a door it was supposed to fit on, and now still waiting for a customer.
